• Diamonds will be the topic on Monday (due to a snow day last week we didn't get to this lesson yet) with demos, music, video, slides and notes. Students may begin taking the 90% Nine Mineral Quiz.
• On Tuesday will be the Mr. Mohs Lab when students will design a mineral experiment.
• Wednesday will be filled with a core sampling activity, demonstrations and maps of the Michigan Basin geological structure.
• A slide show tour of the Michigan Basin will take place on Thursday. Students will complete a study map of the Michigan Basin for their notes.
• A Michigan Basin Quiz will be given on Friday along with more demonstrations and some science music. Progress Reports will be given to students to take home too.
• All students should be working on the Halite Crystal Project at home. This project is due on Friday March 20th.
