• Monday we begin a new making period and a new semester. Every student gets to start over with a clean slate with attendance and grades.
• Dante's Peak Info Slips will be distributed Monday for students to take home and return by Friday after they have been signed by their parent or guardian.
• On Monday students will make a Magmas & Lavas Study Guide to prepare for the quiz to be given on Friday.
• Tuesday the Volcano Record Sheet & Map will be completed in class & handed in to be graded.
• Also on Tuesday students will begin researching a volcano using the Portable Computer Labs. This activity may extend into Wednesday as well.
• Thursday will find students experimenting with a Lava Flow Lab in lab groups.
• The Magmas & Lavas Quiz will be given on Friday. Also an introduction to the Dante's Peak film will made complete with some volcanic hazards demonstrations.
